Today, the annual Forum of KazTransOil JSC contractors was held in Astana at the corporate center of KazMunayGas JSC on the topic: «Occupational safety culture: partner responsibility.»
The event brought together representatives of companies cooperating with the national operator of the main oil pipeline in the framework of production activities and business commitments.
Arman Kassenov, CEO (Chairman of the Management Board) of KazTransOil JSC, addressed the Forum participants, emphasizing that safety is a shared value and responsibility of all those involved in the company's production processes.
KazTransOil JSC consistently implements a strategy to achieve zero occupational injuries. The principles of safety culture apply to all employees, including the personnel of contractors and subcontractors.
40 contractors with a total number of more than 3.5 thousand people operate at the company's facilities. The scale of cooperation requires continuous improvement of approaches to occupational safety, risk prevention and the development of a system of training in safe working methods.
During the event, participants discussed current issues in the field of industrial safety, occupational health and safety, and interaction with business partners, exchanged experiences, and learned about global best practices for fostering a culture of safe behavior and preventing injuries.
The Forum became a platform for strengthening partnership and confirmed that the safety culture is the common responsibility of all parties involved in the implementation of the production tasks of KazTransOil JSC.
