KazTransOil JSC carries out its production activities in accordance with the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in accordance with the licensing documentation agreed with the authorized body in the field of environmental protection.
The priority task in the field of environmental protection is the preservation of a favorable natural environment, including its biodiversity. In order to comply with high international standards, KazTransOil JSC has implemented an environmental management system that meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015.
The existing management system is constantly being improved due to the timely development of a plan of corrective/preventive measures and updating of corporate regulations in the field of production process management, environmental protection and environmental safety.
An important component of the preventive measures system is industrial environmental control, which is an extensive system that includes field studies, analysis and reporting on the results of the Company's production activities. KazTransOil JSC continuously monitors the state of atmospheric air, soils, surface, underground and wastewater on the territory of production facilities and within their sanitary protection zones.
Environmental protection activities at KazTransOil JSC are conducted in accordance with the limits set in the environmental impact assessment (emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, wastewater pollutants, waste).
KazTransOil JSC pays great attention to personnel training, improvement of environmental culture, educational and professional level of personnel in the field of rational use of natural resources, environmental protection and environmental safety.
KazTransOil JSC annually updates environmental goals and conducts activities aimed at minimizing the impact of production activities on the environment. The company actively participates in the low-carbon development program of NC KazMunayGas JSC, implements projects on the introduction of energy-saving technologies and equipment, landscaping of territories and the study of alternative (renewable) energy sources.
In 2025, based on the results of the certification audit, KazTransOil JSC confirmed the compliance of the environmental management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015 and received a certificate of conformity from the international certification body TÜV AUSTRIA for a three-year period.
