«KazTransOil» JSC joined the International Association of Oil Transporters

On September 4, 2015, Moscow hosted a meeting of the Administrative Council of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT), where a decision on «KazTransOil» JSC entering the organization was taken. The association was founded on December 11, 2014. Its members are Transneft OJSC (Russian Federation), MERO CR (Czech Republic), Transpetrol (Slovakia), Gomeltransneft Druzhba JSC (Belarus) and MOL (Hungary). IAOT is focused on assisting with coordination of efforts in the efficient development of the oil transport systems of the participating companies and strengthening the stability of international oil transportation. The participants cover such issues as tariff formation, diagnostics, operation of oil pipelines, storage of oil (oil products), and elaborating strategic steps related to transportation of oil in the Eurasian space within the framework of the association. The companies operating the pipeline systems of Poland, Germany, China and other countries are expected to join IAOT in future.
