Heads of KazTransOil JSC and Transneft JSC was discussed the issues of cooperation

General Director of KazTransOil JSC Dimash Dosanov met with President of Transneft JSC Nikolay Tokarev in Moscow. The Heads of the companies discussed the prospects for further cooperation and development plans for the next five years. In particular, the parties considered the issues of transit of Kazakhstani oil to European consumers, and Russian oil to Chinese. An understanding was reached on the plans related to the functioning of the CPC, the use of products produced under the import substitution program. At the meeting, it was noted that KazTransOil JSC and Transneft JSC are jointly working on the professional level to resolve the incident related to the contamination in April-May 2019 of about 699 thousand tons of oil from 38 Kazakhstani oil companies in the system of the Druzhba oil trunk pipeline. KazTransOil JSC as the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline acts on behalf of these companies is working on signing compensation agreements with Transneft JSC. Currently, agreements on compensation to 14 Kazakhsstani oil companies have been signed. Agreements in favor of the remaining 24 companies will be drawn up as they are ready.
