The 21st extraordinary meeting of the Board of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) was held in person in the capital of Serbia, in which Deputy General Director for Corporate Governance of KazTransOil JSC Almas Ungarsynov took part. As part of the meeting, a meeting of the Permanent Expert Group on Energy Efficiency was also held, in which JSC KazTransOil Deputy General Director for Production Temirkhan Abdirov took part.
The agenda of the main day of the meeting included a number of issues related to the activities of the IAOT. In particular, the application received from Caspian Pipeline Consortium to join IAOT as a full member of this organization. Since 2015, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium has had observer status in the organization. During the meeting, a new chairman of the board of IAOT was also elected - he became the general director, chairman of the board of directors of the Serbian JSC Transnafta Pancevo Bogdan Kuzmanovich.
IAOT was established in 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic, as an international voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental organization. Its goal is to support members of the association engaged in business activities in the field of transportation of oil and petroleum products, as well as effective coordination of the efforts of members of the association to create the most favorable operating conditions.
