Oil transportation in the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara trunk pipeline has been suspended

In connection with the termination of electricity supply (KEGOC JSC, Atyrau Zharyk JSC) on January 10 and January 11, the transportation of oil on Atyrau-Samara section of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara trunk pipeline was suspended.

At present, KazTransOil JSC is working out alternative modes of operation of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara trunk oil pipeline.

After stabilization of the electricity supply by the power transmission organization, transportation will be resumed as planned on Atyrau-Samara section of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara trunk pipeline.

KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the trunk pipeline.  It is included in the group of NC KazMunayGas JSC.   It owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5.4 thousand km.  It transports oil to Kazakhstani oil refineries and for export in 5 directions: Atyrau-Samara and Kazakhstan-China oil pipelines, Aktau port (loading oil into tankers), transshipment to CPC system, and the railway (loading into tanks).  Production facilities of KazTransOil JSC are located in Mangistau, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Almaty, Turkestan, North Kazakhstan regions of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, and Shymkent.
