«KazTransOil» JSC has completed the connection of the newly constructed pipeline of the main oil pipeline «Prorva-Kulsary» on sections on 0-3 km, 21-33 km, 37-38 km with a total length of 16 km.
After the reconstruction, 191 employees of Atyrau, Pavlodar, Karaganda and Mangistau oil pipeline departments of «KazTransOil» JSC carried out work on the commissioning of sections of the main oil pipeline «Prorva-Kulsary». 58 units of special equipment were involved.
This reconstruction of the pipeline of the main oil pipeline «Prorva – Kulsary» was realized in the framework of the project «Capital repair with the replacement of the pipeline «Prorva-Kulsary» on sections 0-3 km, 4-6 km, 9-12 km, 13-15 km, 21-33 km, 37-38 km, 39-43 km, 46-50 km, 60-64 km, 73-76 km, 90-95 km, 100-101 km with start-up camera of cleaning and diagnostics means» (1st and 2nd line).
The main oil pipeline «Prorva-Kulsary» was put into operation in 1986, connected to the main oil pipeline «Ozen - Atyrau – Samara» for transportation of oil fields Atyrau region for export and the internal market. It has a length of 103 km, a design capacity of 7.01 million tons of oil per year, and an actual capacity of 3.4 million tons of oil per year.
