KazTransOil JSC sends 68 stationary multifunctional artificial pulmonary ventilation (APV) apparatus to medical institutions in Kazakhstan. The company allocated 1 billion tenge as a sponsorship for this purpose. European-made ALV apparatuses are designed to treat patients with coronavirus pneumonia and other respiratory diseases.

Medical equipment will be delivered to hospitals in 14 regions and 3 cities of national significance, where there is a shortage of ventilators. The list of medical institutions is based on data provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and local executive bodies.

Currently, recipients of 42 artificial pulmonary ventilation apparatus have been identified. The Central city clinical hospital, the city emergency hospital and the city clinical hospital №4 in Almaty have already received one artificial pulmonary ventilation each.

By the end of August, KazTransOil JSC will send the necessary equipment to medical institutions in Nur-Sultan, Aktobe, Karaganda, Temirtau, Kostanay, Zhitikara, Rudny and Lisakovsk. In September it is planned to supply sets of mechanical ventilation in medical institutions of Zhanaozen, Pavlodar and Ekibastuz.

The remaining 24 artificial pulmonary ventilation will be distributed in accordance with requests among hospitals in Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, Almaty, Akmola, and Kyzylorda regions.
