10.3 million tons of oil transported in Q1 2023

KazTransOil JSC published Q1 2023 production results. In the reporting period, 10 million 348 thousand tons of oil was transported separately through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC, which is 591 thousand tons more than in Q1 2022.
 
The volume of oil transportation to the refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the system of oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC decreased by 47 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 4 million 301 thousand tons of oil. Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP received 1 million 393 thousand tons, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP - 1 million 285 thousand tons, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP - 1 million 467 thousand tons, CASPI BITUMEN Joint Venture LLP - 155 thousand tons.
 
The volume of oil transportation via the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline amounted to 2 million 409 thousand tons, which is 141 thousand tons more than in Q1 2022.
 
2 million 675 thousand tons of oil were transported along the section of the TON-2 oil pipeline on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 20 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2022.
 
2 million 765 thousand tons of oil were transshipped to the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline. The indicator increased by 5 thousand tons compared to Q1 2022.
 
The volume of oil transshipped to the system of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC amounted to 522 thousand tons, which is 358 thousand tons more than in Q1 2022.
 
Filling of oil into tankers in the port of Aktau at KazTransOil JSC facilities amounted to 684 thousand tons, which is 196 thousand tons more than in Q1 2022.
 
Oil cargo turnover separately through the system of KazTransOil JSC oil pipelines amounted to 8 billion 308 million ton-kilometers, which is 52 million ton-kilometers less than the same indicator in 2022.
 
4 million 644 thousand tons were transported through the oil pipeline system of Kazakh-Chinese Pipeline LLP, which is 59 thousand tons less than the same indicator in 2022. Cargo turnover amounted to 4 billion 199 million ton-kilometers, which is 71 million ton-kilometers less than in Q1 2022.
 
The volume of oil transported via the MunaiTas LLP oil pipeline amounted to 1 million 387 thousand tons, which is 99 thousand tons more than in Q1 2022. Cargo turnover also increased by 40 million ton-kilometers, amounting to 559 million ton-kilometers.
 
For the Batumi Oil Terminal LLC group of companies and Petrotrans Limited, the volume of transshipment of oil, petroleum products and gas for the reporting period amounted to 385 thousand tons, which is 93 thousand tons less than in the same period of 2022.
 
The consolidated oil turnover of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 10 billion 693 million ton-kilometers, which is 67 million ton-kilometers less than in        Q1 2022.
 
The Main Water Pipeline LLP supplied 6 million 661 thousand cubic meters of fresh water to its consumers in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions of Kazakhstan through the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak water pipeline which is 162 thousand cubic meters more than in Q1 2022.
 
KazTransOil JSC is the national oil pipeline operator with a diversified network of oil pipelines 5.4 thousand km in length. It is part of the NC KazMunayGas JSC group. KazTransOil JSC holds 100% shares of the Main Water Pipeline LLP which owns the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak main water pipeline.
 
Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (BNT) is a subsidiary organization of KazTransOil JSC (100%). BNT owns and manages the production assets in Georgia.
 
Private limited Liability company «Petrotrans Limited» (PTL) is a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC (100%). PTL provides freight forwarding services along the Transcaucasian corridor, transportation services from the Caspian region through Georgia as well as oil and petroleum products forwarding services.
 
Kazakh-Chinese Pipeline LLP – KazTransOil JSC (50%) and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (50%) joint venture, which owns the Kenkiyak-Kumkol and Atasu-Alashankou oil pipelines.
 
MunaiTas LLP is a joint venture of KazTransOil JSC (51%) and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd (49%), created for the design, financing, construction and operation of the Kenkiyak – Atyrau oil pipeline.
