KazTransOil JSC successfully completed work related to the scheduled shutdown of oil transportation along the Tengiz-Novorossiysk main oil pipeline. Such scheduled events are held regularly to carry out work that can only be performed on stopped equipment at pumping stations and the oil pipeline.
The repairs were carried out on July 9 of this year, as part of the fulfillment of the terms of the contract for technical maintenance of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) oil pipeline system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, concluded between KazTransOil JSC and CPC-K JSC.
During the repairs, two ball valves were replaced, two more were repaired, five were checked for leaks, and two repair structures were installed on the linear section of the oil pipeline. All planned work was completed in full and within the strictly established time frame.
151 employees of the Western Operating Services Division and 10 specialists of the Atyrau and Kulsary Oil Pipeline Divisions of KazTransOil JSC, as well as 54 units of equipment, were involved in these works.
Upon completion of all activities, oil transportation via the Tengiz-Novorossiysk main oil pipeline was resumed.
