Arman Kassenov, the CEO (Chairman of the Management Board) of KazTransOil JSC, met with Levan Diasamidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Kazakhstan in Astana.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, the development of export routes, as well as the strengthening of interaction between Kazakhstan and Georgia within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR)
Special attention was paid to the activities of the Batumi Oil Terminal and the seaport, assets of KazTransOil JSC in Georgia, which demonstrate sustainable development and strengthen the position of a key logistics hub in the Black Sea region.
Following the meeting, the parties noted that the partnership between Kazakhstan and Georgia plays an important role in ensuring stable export supplies and the development of international transport corridors, and expressed confidence in further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and the implementation of new joint projects contributing to the expansion of the transit potential of the two countries.
