 
The oil pipelines workers of KazTransOil JSC have successfully performed at the IV International Professional Skill Contest in Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Contest brought together local employees of pipeline companies with the participation of Chinese company Sino-Pipeline International Co Ltd. from Asian and African countries and was organized within the framework of the «One Belt, One Road» initiative. The participants competed in five professional pipeline industry nominations.
Following the results of the competition, the representatives of KazTransOil JSC demonstrated a high level of professionalism and skill and won prizes in several nominations.
Zhanadil Markhabai, Head of the Calculation and maintenance of high-voltage lines and cathodic protection systems section of Shymkent Oil Pipeline Department of KazTransOil JSC, won 2nd place in the category «Cathodic Protection and High-Voltage Lines».
Kuanysh Yeszhanov, a linear pipeliner from Aralsk EROP of the Eastern Operator Services Department (EOSD) of KazTransOil JSC, has taken the III place in the Linear Pipeliner nomination.
Yerzhan Iskakov, LOD electric and gas welder at Kumkol EOSD , has won the third place in the Electric and Gas Welder nomination.
We also note the high professionalism of the head of the team, Daniyar Mukhametbai, head of the Main pipeline maintenance service at EOSD, who has provided high–quality training for our participants. Thanks to his competent mentoring and support, the team performed successfully and achieved high results.
The Skill Contest is aimed at developing the professional competencies of pipeline industry workers, which directly affects the improvement of infrastructure safety and reliability. The participants of the competition not only demonstrated their professional knowledge and skills, but also exchanged experience in the operation and maintenance of pipeline sections.
