Reconstruction of pump station named after T.Kassymov of «KazTransOil» JSC was completed

«KazTransOil» JSC informs about completion of the project of reconstruction of oil pumping station (OPS) named after T.Kassymov of «KazTransOil» JSC. Implementation of the project was started in July 2013. The goal of the project is ensuring of technical opportunity for transportation of light oil in direction Atyrau – Kenkiyak in the amount of 4 MTA until completion of the projects of increase of throughput capacity of «Kenkiyak-Atyrau» trunk line. «KazTransOil» JSC jointly with «MunaiTas» NWPC JSC plans to implement a range of projects on further increase of throughput capacity of «Kenkiyak-Atyrau» trunk line. In particular, presently the project of reconstruction and expansion of OPS 663 km and project of construction of OPS Aman have been prepared, enabling to increase a throughput capacity of the pipeline in direction of HOPS Kenkiyak up to 6 MTA. In further it is planned to increase throughput capacity of the pipeline up to 12 MTA through reconstruction of relevant and construction of another two new intermediary OPS. OPS named after T.Kassymov (ex OPS Atyrau) located in Atyrau region, launched in 1969 as a part of «Uzen-Atyrau-Samara» trunk line, is a part of Atyrau oil pipeline department of Western branch of «KazTransOil» JSC. Presently it performs accept of oil almost from all oil fields of Kazakhstan (from trunk lines «Uzen-Atyrau», CPC, «Martyshi – Atyrau» «Kenkiyak – Atyrau» and received by rail road), further transportation through «Atyrau-Samara» trunk line and to Atyrau oil refinery, oil throughput to the system of CPC and loading to deliver by rail road. More than 200 staff members ensure operating activity of OPS named after T.Kassymov. «Kenkiyak –Atyrau» OP belongs to «MunaiTas» NWPC JSC, 51% of interest of which is owned by «KazTransOil» JSC, and 49%– to «CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd.» «Kenkiyak – Atyrau» OP has a throughput capacity 6 MTA in direction of HOPS Kenkiyak – OPS named after T.Kassymov.
