KazTransOil JSC plans to apply a new technological mode of operation of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau main oil pipeline in the averse mode with the reconnection of existing pumping units of the Kenkiyak main oil pumping station.
During a working visit to the Aktobe Oil Pipeline Department, General Director (Chairman of the Management Board) of KazTransOil JSC Arman Kassenov noted that this project is in line with the objectives of optimizing energy consumption in production processes. In 2010-2023, KazTransOil JSC reduced the specific energy consumption for oil turnover by 55.2%.
In addition, Arman Kassenov at the Aktobe Oil Pipeline Administration of KazTransOil JSC reviewed the progress of work at capital construction and major repair sites, as well as the organizational and technical measures taken to prepare the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC for operation during the autumn-winter period. Corrective measures have been implemented.
The Aktobe Oil Pipeline Department of KazTransOil JSC ensures the transportation of oil mixtures via the Zhanazhol - Kenkiyak and Alibekmola - Kenkiyak main oil pipelines, receives oil in the reverse mode via the Kenkiyak - Atyrau main oil pipeline, supplies oil to the systems of LLP North-West Pipeline Company MunaiTas and LLP Kazakhstan-China Pipeline via the Kenkiyak - Atyrau and Kenkiyak - Kumkol main oil pipelines.
