On August 19, in Elista, Republic of Kalmykia, as part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Safety Day 2025, the Leaders’ Summit on the Development of a Safety Culture was held. Following the Summit, KazTransOil JSC received awards in two categories.
This year, the CPC Leaders’ Summit is being held for the 13th time, with the venues located in cities within the CPC’s areas of operation. The main goal of the Summit is to develop a culture of safe production and engage employees and partners in a dialogue on responsibility in the field of safety.
The Summit was attended by CPC top managers, specialists from various fields, and contractors. Among them were representatives of KazTransOil JSC, the largest contractor for the technical maintenance of the CPC pipeline system in Kazakhstan: Director of the Operator Services Department Nurlybai Bekov, Director of the Industrial Safety, Labor Protection and Emergency Situations Department Askar Kabulov, Head of the Western Operator Services Division Sergey Kovalchuk, and representatives of LLP «Main Waterline».
Summit participants worked on cases related to occupational safety, industrial and environmental safety, discussed leadership practices, and shared experiences. The outcome was jointly adopted commitments aimed at strengthening the culture of safe production and improving the level of interaction among all participants in the production process.
Following the Summit, KazTransOil JSC was awarded 1st place in the category «For the Contribution of the Organization to the Development of a Safety Culture» and 3rd place in the category «For the Contribution to the Improvement of Working Conditions by Employees of Contracting Organizations.» The awards received serve as confirmation of the company’s leadership in compliance with and promotion of safety culture standards and requirements.
