A three-year contract has been signed for the operation of the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline

The decision of the extraordinary general meeting of participants of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP in absentia approved the conclusion of a three-year contract between KazTransOil JSC and Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP for the operation of the Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipeline for 2025-2027.

KazTransOil JSC, being the national operator of the main oil pipeline in the Republic of Kazakhstan, provides services to Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP for the operation of this pipeline from the moment it is put into operation.

The signing of the contract allows to continue effective cooperation and ensure stable transportation of oil in this direction, and also contributes to the reliable operation of the oil pipeline system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the main oil pipeline system. It is a subsidiary of KazMunayGas NC JSC. The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a total length of 5,400 km and provides pipeline operation services for third-party organizations, covering an additional 5,000 km of pipelines.

Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP is a joint venture of KazTransOil JSC (50%) and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (50%), created for the purpose of designing, constructing and operating the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline with a length of
965.1 km and the Kenkiyak-Kumkol oil pipeline with a length of 794.26 km, which are part of the Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline system.
