The production facilities of KazTransOil JSC are 100% ready for uninterrupted operation during the autumn-winter period. Preparations were carried out according to plan and within the specified time frame.
All business units took part in preparing the production facilities for safe and reliable operation during the cold season.
Preparatory work started in July this year. The list of work done includes maintenance and routine repairs of equipment and structures, shut-off valves, and wells on the linear part of main oil pipelines, water supply, cooling, drainage, and sewerage systems.
As part of preparations for the winter period, tanks were switched to the appropriate operating mode; the operability of autonomous power stations and automatic voltage supply systems was checked; fiber optic communication equipment was serviced; production and residential premises were insulated; boiler rooms and heating networks were certified as ready for wintertime.
Currently, all planned organizational and technical measures have been completed on more than 5,197 km of oil pipelines, 118 tanks, 36 pumping stations, 5 oil loading and unloading racks, power supply and electrochemical protection facilities, automation and telemechanics, heat supply, production and technological communications have been completed.
The successful preparation was confirmed by obtaining of 42 certificates and 36 datasheets confirming the readiness of facilities for operation in the autumn-winter period, covering all the company's energy supply systems.
The main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC is ready for reliable, stable, and trouble-free operation during the fall-winter period of 2025-2026.
