A meeting between the management and employees was held at Batumi Sea Port LLC, during which the Company’s performance for 2025 was reviewed and priority objectives for 2026 were defined.
By the end of 2025, total cargo throughput amounted to 7.3 million tonnes. A key achievement was the increase in independently operated throughput at the dry cargo terminal to 1.15 million tonnes, one of the highest results recorded in recent years. During the year, the port expanded both the geography and the range of handled cargoes, enabling the attraction of new international cargo flows.
Throughout the year, the port ensured the proper technical condition of its infrastructure, successfully passed railway infrastructure security authorization, and confirmed compliance with high standards of environmental and corporate responsibility.
Particular attention was paid to digitalization, personnel development, and social support for employees. The management highlighted the contribution of the workforce, emphasizing that the achieved results provide a solid foundation for further strengthening the position of the Batumi Sea Port.
In 2026, the port plans to focus on increasing cargo throughput volumes, continuing the digitalization of operational processes, improving the efficiency and safety of infrastructure operations, and further developing environmental and social initiatives.
