«KazTransOil» JSC Concludes Five Offtake Agreements in the First Quarter of 2025

 11.04.2025    151
In the first quarter of 2025, «KazTransOil» JSC concluded five offtake agreements with suppliers producing goods within the framework of the Project for the Creation of New Production Facilities of Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP. The offtake agreements concern the procurement of various types of necessary equipment, including batteries, insulators, anode grounders, radio stations, and other goods.

These goods are used to maintain the operational infrastructure of «KazTransOil» JSC, which, as part of a set of measures, helps ensure the reliable and safe transportation of oil, as well as the stable operation of the company’s facilities.

In 2024, the total amount of contracts concluded by «KazTransOil» JSC with domestic suppliers of goods amounted to 8.4 billion tenge, including four offtake agreements (goods produced by potential suppliers within the framework of the Program to Support the Creation of New Production Facilities of Samruk-Kazyna JSC).

As of the end of 2024, the share of in-country value in the procurement of «KazTransOil» JSC amounted to 72%, including 56% for goods.

The increase in their number became possible due to the consistent work of the company aimed at increasing the share of local content within the framework of the Program to Support the Creation of New Production Facilities of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

Thus, the company continues to support domestic manufacturers and is steadily increasing the share of offtake agreements in its procurement. It is expected that the implementation of the signed offtake agreements will allow «KazTransOil» JSC to make a significant contribution to the economic development of the country. In particular, this will lead to the establishment of new production facilities for import-substituting goods and an increase in the share of Kazakhstani content in procured goods, which, in turn, will reduce dependence on imports and increase the level of economic security.

In addition, the increase in the number of potential suppliers planning to launch new production will contribute to the creation of new jobs. The development of new enterprises will provide jobs in the regions, which will contribute to improving the qualifications of local personnel and the introduction of modern standards into production processes.

These steps of «KazTransOil» JSC are in line with the goals outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who emphasized the importance of increasing the volume of domestically produced goods in regulated procurement. He noted that the share of offtake agreements with domestic manufacturers should reach 10%.
