The XXV meeting of the Board of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) was held in person in Sochi (Russian Federation), in which the management of KazTransOil JSC took part.
The General Director (Chairman of the Board) of KazTransOil JSC Arman Kassenov took part in the work of the Association's Board. The event also included the X meeting of the Standing Expert Group on Supply Issues, during which the Deputy General Director for Transportation of KazTransOil JSC Abay Beisembayev presented information to the participants on the implementation of the digital document automation system Oil Transportation Management in the company. This system is designed to support oil transportation services and is aimed at increasing the transparency, efficiency and effectiveness of interaction with shippers.
The agenda of the meeting of the Board of the IAOT covered a wide range of topics, including expanding the Association, preparing for the international competition of professional skills «Best in Profession» and holding a youth scientific and technical conference in 2026. In addition, initiatives to create a Permanent Expert Group on Energy Security and Risk Management, as well as to form a new discussion platform for the development of a safe production culture were discussed.
KazTransOil JSC has been a member of the IAOT since 2015. The Association unites leading oil transportation companies from Europe and Asia, including Russia, Belarus, China, Hungary, Serbia and others. Participation in the IAOT is of strategic importance for the company, ensuring the exchange of experience, the development of professional dialogue and the strengthening of international cooperation in the industry.
