On June 25, 2025, KazTransOil JSC conducted international emergency response drills at the Aralsk emergency recovery support point of the Kenkiyak–Kumkol main oil pipeline.
The event was attended by employees of KazTransOil JSC, representatives of Sino-Pipeline International (SPI), Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP (KCP LLP), and NWPC MunaiTas LLP.
The purpose of the drills was to practice actions involving the cutting of a defective pipeline section with an oil leak, followed by the installation of a spool on the linear part of the main oil pipeline. The exercise also included additional actions such as extinguishing a potential fire and providing first aid to a simulated casualty.
The emergency response drill was conducted with the participation of managers and technical experts from both Kazakhstan and China, including:

representatives of the operation and operator services departments of KazTransOil JSC;

engineers and managers from SPI, KCP LLP, and NWPC MunaiTas LLP.
In total, over 60 specialists took part in the event, including personnel from the Eastern and Western divisions of operator services, a mobile security team, fire services, emergency response units, and a medical team.
The international drill confirmed the high level of coordination among partners, demonstrated readiness for rapid response to emergency situations, and contributed to strengthening industrial and environmental safety in the oil transportation sector.
