From August 19 to 22, the city of Tyumen (Russian Federation) hosted the International Professional Skills Competition
«Best in Profession – 2025». The event brought together 33 employees representing industrial specialties of oil pipeline companies from five countries: KazTransOil JSC (Kazakhstan), Gomeltransneft Druzhba OJSC (Belarus), MOL Group (Hungary), China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation (China), and Transneft PJSC (Russia).
KazTransOil JSC was represented by eight skilled workers in various specialties.
The competition included both theoretical and practical stages. Following the results, KazTransOil representatives won prizes in their respective categories:

1st place, «Oil Pumping Station Operator» – Zhandos Shakenbayev, OPS operator of the B. Dzhumagaliyev MOPS, Zhezkazgan Oil Pipeline Division;

2nd place, «Process Equipment Repair Fitter» – Aslanbek Kalabay, process equipment repair fitter, Equipment Maintenance & Repair Section, Atyrau Oil Pipeline Division;

2nd place, «Pipeline Worker» – Altynbek Mugiev, Emergency Response Unit pipeline worker, Atyrau Oil Pipeline Division;

2nd place, «Chemical Analysis Laboratory Technician» – Maksat Begaliyev, laboratory technician, Kumkol OPS, Zhezkazgan Oil Pipeline Division;

2nd place, «Electrical Fitter for Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment» – Anatoly Khripkov, fitter for relay protection and automation equipment repair, Electrical Equipment Maintenance & Repair Section, Atyrau Oil Pipeline Division;

2nd place, «Electric Gas Welder» – Andrey Makhorin, electric gas welder, Emergency Response Unit, Atyrau Line Operation Division, Western Operator Services Division;

3rd place, «Instrumentation and Automation Fitter» – Rakhmet Sarsek, Instrumentation and Control Technician, Tengiz Oil Pumping Station, Western Operator Services Division;

3rd place, «Tank Farm Operator» – Shayakhmet Zhetkizgen, tank farm operator, loading/unloading terminal, T. Kasymov OPS, Atyrau Oil Pipeline Division.
