As part of the Year of Working Professions declared by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to develop practice-oriented training and in connection with the beginning of the new academic year, a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC, Main Waterline LLP, donated large-sized mechanical and technological production equipment to the Salamat Mukashev Atyrau Polytechnic Higher College.
The college received equipment widely used in pipeline transport and the oil and gas industry: an AD6300 0-2 high-power main pump, as well as shut-off valves.
The purpose of this initiative is to equip the educational institution with modern equipment used on the main pipelines of Kazakhstan, to improve the quality of training students in the specialty «Installation of local main and linear pipelines».
- Bringing theory and practice closer together in training future young specialists is an investment in the future of the country, its development and competitiveness, - said Erkin Tankibaev, General Director of Main Waterline LLP, at the equipment transfer ceremony. - I am confident that this step will help teachers in training qualified young personnel, and students will feel confident at production facilities after graduating from college.
