As part of the implementation of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on increasing the volume of domestic goods in regulated purchases and increasing the share of off-take contracts with domestic manufacturers, KazTransOil JSC is actively working to increase the level of local content in its purchases.
Since the beginning of 2025, the company has concluded 10 off-take contracts with domestic manufacturers for a total of more than 658 million tenge. The number of contracts has increased tenfold compared to the same period last year.
Such results were made possible thanks to systematic work to support Kazakhstani manufacturers, the implementation of the Program for Assistance to the Creation of New Production Facilities of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, as well as close cooperation with government agencies and industry associations.
KazTransOil JSC is actively implementing transparent mechanisms for selecting suppliers, giving priority to enterprises that have confirmed their status as domestic manufacturers. The company pays special attention to the development of long-term partnerships with Kazakhstani companies, which contributes to the sustainable growth of the national economy and the creation of new jobs.
One of the largest offtake contracts in 2025 was an agreement with the KARLSKRONA LC AB plant for the supply of a centrifugal pumping unit for pumping commercial oil. Previously, such equipment was not produced in Kazakhstan and was purchased abroad. On August 7 of this year, a working group of KazTransOil JSC visited the KARLSKRONA LC AB plant to monitor the production process and meet with the management of the enterprise. The plant, located in the city of Shymkent, specializes in the production of pumping, electrical and non-standard equipment, as well as castings from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The company already supplies similar pumps to other Kazakhstani companies in the oil and gas industry, which confirms the quality of the products and the high technological level of production.

Also, the working group of KazTransOil JSC visited the Shymkent plant of Renaissance SHIK LLP, which is a domestic manufacturer, where they got acquainted with the process of manufacturing electrochemical protection equipment.
Participation in the New Production Program allows accelerating the localization of high-tech equipment, reducing dependence on imports and increasing the technological independence of Kazakhstan. For the oil and gas industry, this is an important step towards strengthening economic sustainability and national security.
KazTransOil JSC plans to further develop its offtake policy by expanding the range of purchased goods and services of Kazakhstani production, including by concluding new agreements with manufacturers in the regions of its presence.
