KazTransOil JSC approved the Code in the field of occupational safety and health «Life-saving rules», developed in accordance with the best global practices and recommendations of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP).
The IOGP recommendations are based on the results of an analysis of more than 2 thousand fatal accidents in 100 IOGP member enterprises from 1991 to the present.
KazTransOil JSC Code in the field of occupational safety and health «Life-saving rules», contains information about risks in the workplace and the proper use of critical protective equipment/barriers to protect workers. The requirements of the Code are aimed at improving corporate culture in terms of ensuring occupational safety and health, the level of personal interest of each employee in preventing occupational injuries and occupational diseases, accidents and incidents.
The approval of the document will contribute to the implementation of the global initiative to promote the Vision Zero concept of «zero injuries», developed by the International Social Security Organization. KazTransOil JSC joined this initiative in 2022.
