Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Georgia, Malik Murzalin, during his official visit to the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, commended the efficient operational performance of the Batumi Oil Terminal and Batumi Sea Port, both owned by KazTransOil JSC.
During a meeting with the newly appointed Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between the Autonomous Republic and various regions of Kazakhstan in the areas of logistics, tourism, construction, and agriculture, as well as expanding partnerships between business communities.
Particular emphasis was placed on the development of freight transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. In this context, the efficient operations of the Batumi Oil Terminal and Batumi Sea Port were once again highlighted.
The Chairman of the Government of Adjara presented the region’s tourism and investment potential to the Ambassador, expressing readiness to deepen cooperation.
Ambassador Murzalin thanked the Government of Adjara for its continued support of Kazakh investors and for fostering a favorable business environment.
The meeting was also attended by Adjara’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Jaba Putkaradze, Head of the Government Administration, Giorgi Tsintsadze, and the General Director of the Batumi Sea Port, Ulan Tleugali.
