A working meeting took place in Astana between KazTransOil JSC and Tengizchevroil LLP to discuss prospects for further cooperation.
The parties paid particular attention to the implementation of the project for the construction of the feeder oil pipeline «Tengiz PS – Prorva–Kulsary MOP.»
A separate point of discussion was the potential use of KazTransOil JSC's infrastructure.
Following the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening long-term and strategic partnership.
KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the main oil pipeline system. It is a subsidiary of KazMunayGas NC JSC. The company owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a total length of 5,200 km and provides pipeline operation services for third-party organizations, covering an additional 5,000 km of pipelines.
Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) is a Kazakhstani partnership engaged in the development, production, and sale of crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, dry gas, and sulfur. TCO employs advanced technologies and conducts its operations in accordance with global safety and environmental protection standards. The company was established in April 1993 as a partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chevron Corporation. TCO’s partners are: Chevron – 50%, KazMunayGas National Company JSC – 20%, ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Ventures Inc. – 25%, and Lukoil – 5%.
