By the decision of the Board of Directors of KazTransOil JSC dated June 28, 2019, the authority of Alibi A. Kultumiyev, member of the Management Board of KazTransOil JSC, was terminated on July 8, 2019.
From July 9, 2019, Alen B. Tanatarov was elected to the Management Board of KazTransOil JSC.
Alen B. Tanatarov was born August 23, 1981, has a higher education. In 2002, he graduated from the University of Tulsa (USA) with a bachelor's degree in petroleum and has an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting from Suffolk University (USA).
He began his career in 2000 as Engineer in the Eurasian Business Department of Chevron. He worked as Engineer in the Development Management Department of Tengizchevroil LLP.
Over the years, he worked at KazMunayGas E&P JSC, NC KazMunayGas JSC, and headed KMG-Kumkol LLP.
From 2010 to 2014, he was seconded from NC KazMunayGas JSC to NCOC as Coordinator of Aktoty and Kairan oilfields development, and Head of the Kashagan Phase I Delivery Coordination Department.
From 2014 to 2016, he held the position of Managing Director for organic chemistry assets of United Chemical Company LLP, and at the same time, he was Deputy General Director of KLPE LLP.
From February 2016 to July 2019, he worked as General Director of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP.
