By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 6, 2019 (No. 210), the scientific work of the authors of «KazTransOil» JSC on the topic «Scientific and technical support for energy saving of transportation of oil and oil mixtures along the pipelines of «KazTransOil» JSC» was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology named after al-Farabi 2019. The team of authors included Berik Sayakhov, Director of Technical Policy Department of KazTransOil JSC, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Yerbol Mahmotov – General Manager of the R & D and Innovation sector of the Technical Policy Department of «KazTransOil» JSC , doctor of Chemical Sciences, academician of Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences, a foreign member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Professor Iskander Beisembetov, Professor Uzak Zhapbasbayev, Professor Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev and others.
«Smart Tran software is the result of joint activity of K. I. Satpayev KazNRTU and specialists of «KazTransOil» JSC. SmartTran allows to optimize the operation of pumps and preheating furnace to reduce the cost of pumping and heating oil. It was first applied at Uzen-Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline, where we obtained good results and further implemented the systems of this program throughout the world, « says Berik Sayakhov, Director of Technical Policy Department of «KazTransOil» JSC. According to the authors, the implementation of the development will increase labor productivity, efficiency of planning and management of technological modes of oil transportation.
The winners of the State prize were the works of other researchers. Among them are the works of NGO Kazakh Academy of nutrition LLP, Institute of Geography LLP and Baiserke-Agro ESPC LLP.
