 30.12.2019    271
For the first time in December, 160 thousand tons of low-sulphur oil was transported in a mixture with Siberian Light oil of the West Siberian variety, intended for further shipment for export through the port of Novorossiysk with tanker shipments of 80 thousand tons each. Oil is pumped through the Atyrau-Samara pipeline of «KazTransOil» JSC along a route that maintains its quality, with further transportation through the system of «Transneft» PJSC in a common flow with Siberian Light oil to Novorossiysk. Previously, the volume of such deliveries did not exceed 85 thousand tons of oil per month. Deliveries of Kazakhstani low-sulphur oil via the Atyrau-Samara-Novorossiysk pipeline with the preservation of the quality of raw materials have been carried out since January 2017. At the same time, the netback of supplies in the Siberian Light stream, in comparison with Urals, is significantly higher, which is much more profitable for domestic oil companies and Kazakhstan in general. For 12 months of 2019, «KazTransOil» JSC transported 1 million 45 thousand tons of Kazakh oil along the Atyrau-Samara route while maintaining the quality of raw materials. The main shipper is «OzenMunaiGas» JSC, partially supplied volumes of Kashagan oil. Reference: «KazTransOil» JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the main oil pipeline.
