The Chairman of the Management Board of NC «KazMunayGas» JSC, Alik Aidarbaev, held an offsite meeting at JSC «KazTransOil», at which a report on the activities of the national oil transportation operator for 2019 was heard. In an expanded format, KMG management visited KazTransOil for the first time. Daniyar Berlibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for oil transportation, international projects and the construction of the Sary-Arka gas pipeline of NC «KazMunayGas» JSC, Dauren Karabayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board - CFO, Zhakyp Marabayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Production, Dastan Abdulgafarov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Strategy, Investment and Business Development and other representatives of the financial, industrial, legal and personnel blocks took part in the meeting. As Dimash Dossanov, the General Director of «KazTransOil» JSC noted, all the main indicators of the company have been met. The 2019 consolidated oil cargo turnover amounted to 45.6 billion ton-kilometers. Separately, through the system of main oil pipelines, «KazTransOil» JSC transported 44.5 million tons of oil, which is 389 thousand tons higher than the plan. The capital investment plan of «KazTransOil» JSC was executed at 95% or 41.1 billion tenge. In 2019, the company carried out intelligent pigging of 1,044 km of the oil pipeline. Over the past four years, 412 km of oil trunk pipelines were repaired, and 978 thousand defects were eliminated. Replaced 5 pumping units that have worked out their normative period. As part of the implementation of the Transformation Program, the management structure of KazTransOil was reorganized, IT functions were optimized, and projects were implemented to transfer outsourced personnel engaged in non-core areas. The total economic effect from the implementation of these projects in 2017-2021 is expected to reach 5.6 billion tenge. «KazTransOil» JSC has developed a digital technology development program aimed at optimizing and improving the efficiency of business processes, as well as improving labor safety. According to D. Dossanov, in 2020 the company will focus on accident-free and uninterrupted oil transportation, completion of the strategically important «Kenkiyak-Atyrau» oil pipeline reverse project. «In order to reduce injuries, improve safety and labor protection among the company's employees, 2020 has been declared the Year of Safety at «KazTransOil«JSC. This is a serious challenge for us» added the General Director of the Company. Having heard the report, Alik Aidarbayev, the Chairman of the Management Board of NC «KazMunayGas«JSC, noted the stable performance of the company and positively assessed the analytical work to optimize existing business processes. «If the strategic goals of «KazTransOil» JSC are to ensure reliable, uninterrupted oil transportation and compliance with safety precautions, then they should be implemented. I am impressed by the KTO digitalization program, aimed at continuous improvement of business processes. It is important to have a clear understanding of how the company will develop in 2020, 2021 and beyond» A. Aidarbayev concluded. The head of KazMunayGas recalled that KazTransOil faces the challenges of ensuring route diversification, improving operations and improving safety procedures, which the company successfully copes with. At the same time, he ordered to take under special control the implementation of the «Kenkiyak-Atyrau» reverse project.
