97% of KazTransOil office workers in Nur-Sultan and Almaty moved to remote work

From March 16 to April 15, a state of emergency was declared in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason, many Kazakhs have switched to remote work. KazTransOil was no exception, because the company’s main concern was to protect the health of its employees and ensure the smooth transportation of oil. How is work done at home? With the help of VPN technology the system of secure remote access of employees of the company to workplaces is configured. This means that every employee can work with documents and work programs without leaving home. But instead of the usual office, the cozy walls of the house. From there, the General Dispatch Office manages the complex oil-pumping process on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And this work cannot be done remotely. Therefore, for maximum protection from external contacts, dispatchers have been moved to a separate back-up room for work.
