The consolidated oil turnover of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 42.3 million tons in 2020

KazTransOil JSC has summed up production results for 2020. In the reporting period, 42 million 298 thousand tons of oil were transported separately through the system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC, which is 2 million 166 thousand tons or 5% less than in 2019.

Oil cargo turnover separately through the system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 35 billion 899 million ton-kilometers that is 1 billion 759 million ton-kilometers less than the same indicator in 2019.

The consolidated oil cargo turnover of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 43 billion 757 million ton-kilometers that is 1 billion 824 million ton-kilometers less than in 2019.

The volume of oil transportation to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC decreased compared to 2019 by 1 million 273 thousand tons or 8%, and amounted to 15 million 610 thousand tons of oil. 4 million 962 thousand tons were supplied to the Atyrau oil refinery, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP - 4 million 796 thousand tons, Pavlodar petrochemical plant - 4 million 998 thousand tons, JV CASPI BITUM LLP - 854 thousand tons.

Compared to 2019 the volume of oil transportation through the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline increased by 150 thousand tons and amounted to 14 million 478 thousand tons.

TON-2 section of the oil pipeline located in the Republic of Kazakhstan transported 10 million 942 thousand tons of oil, which is 61 thousand tons less than in 2019.

Transshipment of 10 million 550 thousand tons of oil to the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline and 502 thousand tons of oil to Caspian Pipeline Consortium JSC system of main oil pipelines was carried out. Compared to 2019, the indicators decreased by 297 thousand tons and 1 million 268 thousand tons respectively.

Oil loading into tankers in the port of Aktau using the capacities of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 2 million 98 thousand tons which is 78 thousand tons more than in 2019.

15 million 883 thousand tons were transported through the oil pipeline system of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP that is 317 thousand tons less than in 2019. Freight turnover amounted to 14 billion 368 million ton-kilometers that is 222 million ton-kilometers less than the result of 2019.

The volume of oil transportation through the MunaiTas LLP pipeline amounted to 3 million 321 thousand tons that is 89 thousand tons more than in 2019. In 2020 cargo turnover also increased by 90 million ton-kilometers, amounting to 1 billion 322 million ton-kilometers.

For the group of Batumi Oil Terminal LLC companies and Petrotrans Limited, the volume of oil, oil products, and gas transshipments amounted to 1 million 51 thousand tons for the reporting period that is 194 thousand tons more than in 2019.

To consumers of the Atyrau and Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan through the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak water pipeline, Main Waterline LLP supplied 28 million 406 thousand cubic meters of fresh water; the decrease in the volume of water supply compared to 2019 was 495 thousand cubic meters.

Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP is a joint venture of KazTransOil JSC (50%) and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd (50%) that owns the Kenkiyak-Kumkol and Atasu-Alashankou oil pipelines.

MunaiTas LLP is a joint venture of KazTransOil JSC (51%) and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd (49%), created to implement the project for the design, financing, construction and operation of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline.

Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (BOT) is a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC (100%). Direct ownership and management of production assets in Georgia is carried out through BOT.

Private limited liability company «Petrotrans Limited» (PTL) is a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC (100%). PTL provides freight forwarding services along the Transcaucasian corridor, provides transport services from the Caspian region through Georgia and carries out business and operational activities related to the provision of oil and oil product forwarding services.

KazTransOil JSC owns 100% of shares in the authorized capital of Main Waterline LLP. Main Waterline LLP is the owner of the main water pipeline «Astrakhan-Mangyshlak».
