KazTransOil JSC has completed the implementation of the project to install mobile buildings with water purification equipment at the Kalamkas Main Oil Pumping Station and the Karazhanbas Oil Pumping Station, which are part of the Mangistau Oil Pipeline Department (MPU).
The project was carried out as part of the Program for the qualitative improvement of MPU activities and aims to provide department employees with drinking water, as well as improve the working conditions of the personnel.
The installed equipment for purifying the Volga (technical) water allows it to meet the quality standards of drinking water, in accordance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This contributes to the improvement of the social infrastructure at these facilities. The installation will provide a long-term solution for efficient water supply and improve the working conditions of employees.
Previously, drinking water for the needs of the production facilities of the Kalamkas MOPS and the Karazhanbas OPS was supplied from the pumping station of the village of Kiyakty in the Mangistau region, and significant funds were allocated for its purchase.
As a result of the project, KazTransOil JSC was able to significantly reduce the costs of supplying drinking water to these facilities, increase environmental safety, and enhance the social responsibility and sustainability of the production facilities.
