As part of the program to create a modern and safe working environment for employees, KazTransOil JSC completed the construction of a new administrative and amenity building (AAB) at Shagyr oil loading terminal (OLT) of Shymkent Oil Pipeline Management Department.
Construction work began in January 2025. The modern two-storey building with a basement with a total area of 1,243 m2 is designed to accommodate 25 shift-based employees. During the design, special attention was paid to the issues of ergonomics, safety and convenience of work — these are important components of the corporate culture of KazTransOil JSC.
The AAB is equipped with everything necessary for efficient work and good rest: there are rest rooms, a shower room, a dining room, a gym, a classroom and rooms for engineering and technical staff. Modern ventilation, heating, communication and automation systems ensure the comfort and safety of employees.
In September of this year, a sports ground with an area of 648 m2, designed for playing football, volleyball, and basketball, was also opened at the Shagyr OLT.
The commissioning of the new AAB has significantly increased the comfort level and improved the working conditions of the staff. The project became part of the systematic work of KazTransOil JSC to modernize the infrastructure at the company's production facilities.
In total, in 2024-2025, the company implemented projects for the construction and overhaul of social and infrastructural facilities with a total area of 10,274 m2 in the regions where the company operates (Sai-Utes OHS, Ekibastuz OPS, Alibekmola MTOPS, Chulak-Kurgan MTOPS, Prorva OPS, Karazhanbas OPS, Shagyr OLT, AkNU industrial base, Aman OPS of Munaitas NWPC LLP).
At the same time, KazTransOil JSC consistently supports domestic producers (DP): During the construction of facilities, block-modular structures, equipment and materials of Kazakhstani production are used, which significantly reduces the time and improves the quality of work.
In addition, in 2025, the construction of three universal sports grounds with a total area of 1944 m2 was completed — at the Shagyr OLT, OPS-3 and Alibekmola MTOPS.
The implementation of these projects is aimed at increasing the level of social protection of employees, developing corporate infrastructure and creating a comfortable production environment in the structural divisions of KazTransOil JSC, and work in this direction will actively continue.
