Within the frames of Х Forum of inter-regional cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia, held on 11 November in Yekaterinburg with participation of RoK President Nursultan Nazarbayev and RF President Vladimir Putin, «KazMunayGas» NC JSC, «KazTransOil» JSC and «Rosneft» NC OJSC endorsed «Provisional agreement on transportation of oil across the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and warrantees». According to given document «KazTransOil» JSC and «Rosneft» NC OJSC will conclude an agreement on oil transportation in the direction of China via the route Priirtyshsk – Atasu – Alashankou in the amount of 7 mln. tons per year, starting from 1 January 2014. The contract is valid for 5 years with an opportunity of automatic prolongation for additional 5 years. The payment under the agreement shall be accomplished according to the tariffs, set in procedure established by RoK legislation.
Also it is planned to endorse inter-governmental agreement between two countries to support provisions of agreement on transportation of Russian oil across the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China.
