«KazTransOil» JSC is now ready to finalize construction of OPS 663 km of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline. These works are being done within the framework of the second stage of the second phase of the project on construction of Kazakhstan-China main oil pipeline system aimed at boosting the capacities of Atyrau-Kenkiyak and Kenkiyak-Kumkol sections up to 20 mln.tons per year. As the design solutions state, OPS 663 km will be the main oil pumping station of Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline.
The vapor recovery system for recovery of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) will be used for the first time in construction of main oil pipeline facilities of «KazTransOil» JSC. The system, being installed at OPS 663 km, is produced by «OTS» group of companies (Kaliningrad, Russia). The process is based on a well-known technology of activated carbon adsorption in a layer and its regeneration using vacuum to remove hydrocarbons in the vapor stream, so allowing clean air come from coal filters into the atmosphere.
This well-proven technology is the best solution for tanks of oil and oil products, road and rail tank cars and marine tankers. This technology, in addition to its high energy efficiency, allows liquidating the loss of light hydrocarbons, keeping oil properties, and blocking harmful emissions.
