Today the Agreement on Determination of the Process Oil Status in the Main Oil Pipelines «Tuymazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2» and «Omsk-Pavlodar» was signed between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation in the city of Chelyabinsk, within the framework of the XIV Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia with the participation of the Heads of the States, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. A. Bozumbaev and the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation A.V. Novak.
The signed Intergovernmental Agreement recognizes the right of ownership:
- for some oil located in the Russian section of the oil pipeline «Omsk-Pavlodar» in the amount of 62,048 tons, for «Transneft-Ural» JSC (a subsidiary of «Transneft» PJSC);
- for some oil located in the Russian section of the oil pipeline «Omsk-Pavlodar» in the amount of 79,680 tons, for «KazTransOil» JSC;
- for oil located in the Kazakhstan section of the oil pipeline «Tuymazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2» in the amount of 62,048 tons, for «KazTransOil» JSC.
