The integrated annual report of JSC «Kaztransoil» for 2019 has been published

The annual report presents the results of the production activities of the past year, key events and achievements of the company.

«KazTransOil JSC currently provides for transportation of approximately 40% of the overall national oil production and 99% of supplies to the domestic refineries. The Company operates in 11 regions of the country and employs approximately 6800 persons.

The Company’s revenues in 2019 amounted to KZT 239.6 billion and increased by 6% as compared to the previous year. The total profit for the reporting period was KZT 45.1 billion and grew by 17%. The total dividend payments in the reporting period based on 2018 amounted to KZT 40 billion, or KZT 104 per Company’s ordinary share», - such data results in his welcome address to shareholders and partners, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC KazTransoil Daniyar Berlibayev.

General Director of JSC KazTransOil Dimash Dossanov notes that despite decreasing oil production by the Company’s traditional shippers and Caspian Pipeline Consortium oil pipeline throughput capacity expansion, the Company reached the positive financial results in the reporting period.

«In 2019, there was an increase in the income from the operating services, which represent another core activity performed by the company. The respective income in 2019 was KZT 16.1 billion and increased by KZT 2.8 billion as compared to 2018 due to commencement of services to Caspian Pipeline Consortium starting from July 2018.

An important result achieved by the Company in 2019 was completion of the return activities as related to 141,728 tonnes of process oil owned by KazTransOil JSC and located in the Russian Federation in Omsk – Pavlodar main oil pipeline.

KazTransOil JSC is a reliable and responsible partner in the field of oil transportation. The Company promptly settled the issue related to high content of chlororganic compounds in the oil inventory, which resulted in off-spec oil shipments from Kazakhstan shippers to tankers in Ust-Luga port. In order to settle the above incident, KazTransOil JSC acting on behalf of 38 Kazakhstan oil companies signed an agreement with PJSC Transneft on compensation payments for off-spec oil in favour of the affected Kazakhstan oil companies. All 38 shippers received the compensation», - emphasises readers of the annual report on the company’s key achievements in 2019 Dimash Dossanov.

KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the main oil pipeline. It is a part of the «KazMunayGas» group of companies. It owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5.4 thousand km. Production facilities of KazTransOil JSC are located in Shymkent, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Turkestan, North Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Almaty and Aktobe regions of Kazakhstan. It transports oil to Kazakhstan's refineries and exports in 5 directions: «Atyrau – Samara» and «Kazakhstan-China» oil pipelines, Aktau port (loading oil into tankers), railway (loading into cistern), transshipment to the CPC system.
