Issues related to the construction of the Kenkiyak - Atyrau oil pipeline reverse project were discussed at an off-site meeting in Munaytas LLP, chaired by Dimash Dossanov, General Director of KazTransOil JSC.
According to Amir Gali, Deputy General Director for production in Munaytas LLP, the first launch complex has been completed as part of the Kenkiyak - Atyrau oil pipeline reverse project. In particular, a two-line bridge of the oil pipeline with a total length of 6.5 km was built from the Head Oil Pumping Station n.a. N. Shmanov to the Atyrau-Kenkiyak oil pipeline. Reconstruction of Munaytas LLP facilities on the territory of the Oil Pumping Station n.a. T.Kasymov, Oil Pumping Station n.a. Kenkiyak and the linear part of the Atyrau-Kenkiyak oil pipeline has been completed.
«As part of the second start-up complex, which provides for the design, supply of equipment and commissioning of the Oil Pumping Station n.a. Aman, work has been completed by 57%. Thus, equipment deliveries were made by 66%, and construction progress was 34%. Development of the project for installing oil heating furnaces at the Oil Pumping Station n.a. Aman of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau pipeline has been completed. The project is aimed to the state expertize», - said Amir Gali.
Currently, 302 people are involved in the construction project. by the end of September, it is planned to increase the number of working personnel to 350 people, with the subsequent mobilization of up to 450 people.
In turn, the General Director of KazTransOil JSC Dimash Dossanov noted that the reverse project is of strategic importance for the economy of Kazakhstan. Taking into account the high risks associated with the coronavirus pandemic, MunaiTas LLP was instructed to speed up the construction of the facility. In particular, it is necessary to complete the installation of technological pipelines and equipment at the Head Oil Pumping Station n.a. Aman by the end of September.
The first stage of the reverse section of the pipeline Kenkiyak-Atyrau capacity to 6 million tons per year within the project «Second phase of the second stage of construction of oil pipeline «Kazakhstan-China» is implemented in order to create multi-vector system of transportation of hydrocarbons of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Munaytas LLP is a member of the KazTransOil Groups and is implementing the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline reverse project.
