The volume of oil transportation by KazTransOil JSC increased by 10% in Q1 2024

KazTransOil JSC summed up production results for the first quarter of 2024. In the reporting period, 11 million 379 thousand tons of oil were transported separately through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC, which is 1 million 30 thousand tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

The volume of oil transportation to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil JSC increased by 27 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to 4 million 327 thousand tons of oil. 1 million 414 thousand tons were supplied to the Atyrau oil refinery LLP, 1 million 360 thousand tons were supplied to the PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, 1 million 458 thousand tons were supplied to Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, 95 thousand tons were supplied to JV CASPI BITUM LLP.

The volume of oil transportation along the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline amounted to 2 million 514 thousand tons, which is 105 thousand tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

The section of the TON-2 oil pipeline located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan transported 2 million 876 thousand tons of oil, which is 201 thousand tons more compared to the same period in 2023. 2 million 775 thousand tons of oil were transshipped into the Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipeline. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2023, the figure increased by 11 thousand tons.

The volume of oil transshipment into the system of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC amounted to 1 million 121 thousand tons, which is 599 thousand tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

Loading oil into tankers in the port of Aktau using capacities KazTransOil JSC amounted to 856 thousand tons, which is 172 thousand tons more compared to the 1st quarter of 2023.

Oil turnover separately via the main oil pipeline system KazTransOil JSC amounted to 8 billion 691 million ton-kilometers, which is 383 million ton-kilometers more than the same indicator in 2023.

The oil pipeline system of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP transported 4 million 768 thousand tons, which is 124 thousand tons more than the same figure in 2023. Freight turnover amounted to 4 billion 243 million ton-kilometers, which is 44 million ton-kilometers more than the result of the 1st quarter of 2023.

The volume of oil transportation through the oil pipeline of MunaiTas LLP amounted to 1 million 473 thousand tons, which is 86 thousand tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023. Freight turnover also increased by 45 million ton-kilometers, amounting to 604 million ton-kilometers.

For the group of companies Batumi Oil Terminal LLC and Petrotrans Limited, the volume of transshipment of oil, oil products and gas during the reporting period amounted to 456 thousand tons, which is 71 thousand tons more than in the same period in 2023.

The consolidated oil cargo turnover of KazTransOil JSC amounted to 11 billion 121 million ton-kilometers, which is 428 million ton-kilometers more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

Main Waterline LLP supplied 5 million 926 thousand cubic meters to consumers in the Atyrau and Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan via the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak water pipeline. the decrease in the volume of water supply compared to the 1st quarter of 2023 amounted to 735 thousand cubic meters.
 

KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the main oil pipeline. Part of the JSC NC KazMunayGas group. Owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5.4 thousand km.

KazTransOil JSC owns 100% of the shares in the authorized capital Main Waterline LLP. Main waterline LLP is the owner of the Astrakhan - Mangyshlak main water pipeline.

Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (BOT) is a subsidiary KazTransOil JSC (100%). BOT directly owns and manages production assets in Georgia.

Private limited liability company Petrotrans Limited (PTL) is a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC (100%). PTL provides freight forwarding services along the Transcaucasian corridor, provides transport services from the Caspian region through Georgia and carries out business and operational activities related to the provision of oil and petroleum products forwarding services.

Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP – joint venture KazTransOil JSC (50%) and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (50 %), owning the Kenkiyak-Kumkol and Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipelines.

MunaiTas LLP is a joint venture of KazTransOil JSC (51%) and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd (49%), created to implement the project for the design, financing, construction and operation of the Kenkiyak - Atyrau main oil pipeline.
