At the production facilities of KazTransOil JSC in Atyrau work on the construction of protective structures has been completed

The Atyrau Oil Pipeline Department has completed work on the construction of protective dams around the facilities of the Atyrau Oil Pipeline Department of KazTransOil JSC, Main Waterline LLP and North-West Pipeline Company MunaiTas LLP.

Work on the construction of coastal fortifications (building a shaft) on the Zhaiyk River along the Ardager microdistrict and the village of Geolog with a length of 4 km is also nearing completion.

In addition, KazTransOil JSC provides assistance in carrying out flood control work for other production companies in the region, such as: Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP, Karabatan Utility Solutions LLP, Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP, JSC Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. For this, KazTransOil JSC sent personnel and special equipment (dump trucks, excavators, bulldozers, etc.) to build fortifications and protect the production facilities of the above organizations.

In general, to participate in flood control measures to protect the city of Atyrau and production facilities in the region from floods, KazTransOil JSC involved more than 200 employees, allocated about 57 units of vehicles and special equipment.
Of these, 25 units were attracted from the reserves of the Mangistau, Aktobe, Shymkent, Zhezkazgan oil pipeline departments and the Eastern Department of Operator Services of KazTransOil JSC.

The purpose of the above work on the construction of protective barriers is to control flood situations, prevent threats of flooding of the city of Atyrau, city-forming enterprises of the Atyrau region, including facilities KazTransOil JSC to ensure continuity of the oil transportation process.

Today, oil transportation to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to export destinations is carried out as usual in accordance with the schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are no interruptions in receiving oil from shippers.
