As part of a working visit to the Karaganda Oil Pipeline Division the General Director (Chairman of the Board) of KazTransOil JSC Arman Kassenov, inspected the progress of the major repair of the shelter, and the reconstruction of the water supply and firefighting systems at the «Atasu» head oil pumping station.
He instructed the modernization of the station's production facilities using the best standards and ensuring their timely commissioning.
The major repair of the shelter and the reconstruction of the water supply and firefighting systems at the «Atasu» head oil pumping station are being carried out to ensure the reliable transportation of oil through the «Pavlodar - Shymkent» main oil pipeline and the transfer of oil to the «Atasu - Alashankou» pipeline. As part of the reconstruction of the station's water supply system, which provides water to sanitary, household, and production facilities, a 2.2 km pipeline will be replaced. The reconstruction of the station’s firefighting system includes the construction of two reservoirs for storing 2,000 m³ of firefighting water. The major repair will improve the reliability of the station's shelter equipment.
At the «Atasu» head oil pumping station, Arman Kassenov also visited the tank farm, the main pumping station, the control room, and the chemical laboratory.
At the Karaganda Oil Pipeline Division's production service base, he inspected the construction site for a propane and oxygen storage facility, giving instructions to complete the project within the planned timeframe.
Additionally, during the working visit to the Karaganda Oil Pipeline Division, Arman Kassenov reviewed the preparation of production facilities for the autumn-winter period. He emphasized the importance of completing all organizational and technical measures to prepare the «KazTransOil» JSC main oil pipeline system for the upcoming cold season.
The Karaganda Oil Pipeline Division of KazTransOil JSC ensures the transportation of oil through the «Pavlodar - Shymkent» pipeline and the transfer of oil into the «Atasu - Alashankou» pipeline for delivery to the People's Republic of China.
