KazTransOil JSC commissioned a linear telemechanics system at the Peterfeld line operations dispatcher station of the Pavlodar Oil Pipeline Management.
It allows to remotely control the equipment of the linear part of Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2 main oil pipeline from the station’s control room.
The system of linear telemechanics stores and archives events and values of technological parameters, operatively controls the pressure and temperature of oil, generates logs of emergency messages, messages about the process and operators’ actions.
In order to provide telemechanics facilities with communication, a fiber-optic communication cable was laid and active network equipment was installed in the block-boxes of control and monitoring stations. Trunking radio communication system has been built on the basis of digital radio stations.
The Kazakhstan section of Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2 main oil pipeline is 186,249 km. The installed capacity is 11 million tons/year; the design throughput capacity is 18 million tons/year.
