The volume of oil transportation and throughput separately for «KazTransOil» JSC comprised 12 million 714 thousand tons, or 6% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013. The consolidated volume of transportation and throughput of oil and oil products reached 15 million 488 thousand tons, or 8.6% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013.
The oil throughput separately for «KazTransOil» JSC amounted to 8 billion 941 million ton.km, or 3% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013. The consolidated oil turnover stood at 11 billion 79 million ton.km, or 1.8% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013.
The volume of the Volga water supply to the consumers in Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshlak waterline for the reporting period amounted to 5 million 429 thousand cubic meters, which is 6% more than in the 1st quarter of 2013.
The revenue separately for «KazTransOil» JSC in the 1st quarter of 2014 reached 41 billion 352 million tenge, or 0.4% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013.
The net income separately for «KazTransOil» JSC in the 1st quarter of 2014 amounted to 15 billion 140 million tenge, which is 9.6% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013.
The consolidated revenue in the 1st quarter of 2014 amounted to 45 billion 385 million tenge, which is 3.6 % lower than in the same period of 2013. The consolidated net profit made up 5 billion 76 million tenge, or 75% lower than in the 1st quarter of 2013. The decline in the consolidated profit is mainly due to the loss from jointly-controlled entities. As a result of national currency devaluation, «Kazakhstan-China Pipeline» LLP faced the foreign exchange loss stemming from revaluation of financial liabilities (loans) denominated in U.S. dollars.
«KazTransOil» JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline. «KazTransOil» JSC is the largest oil transportation company of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which owns a diversified network of main oil and water pipelines with total length of 7600 km.
