«KazTransOil» JSC will complete in 2021 the investment project «The first stage of the reverse section of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline with a capacity of up to 6 million tons per year». Originally, the project was planned to be completed in 2020. The adjustment of the term was approved by JSC NC «KazMunayGas» and is due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
All activities within the first launch complex of the project were completed in June 2020. Reconstruction of the facilities of «MunaiTas» LLP on the territory of the Oil Pumping Station n.a. T. Kasymov, Oil Pumping Station «Kenkiyak», and the linear part of the «Kenkiyak- Atyrau» oil pipeline has been completed. As part of the second start-up facilities at the Aman PS construction site, hydraulic tests of process pipelines were carried out, and a tie-in was made to the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil trunk pipeline at the connection point of the treatment unit launching unit at 226 km. All works, including commissioning, have been completed at the «Kulsary» substation and «Aman» substation. In addition, voltage was supplied to two high-voltage lines of 110 kV, a complete transformer substation 10/04 kV of the oil pumping station Aman and the main pumping units of the oil pumping station Aman.
