Main Water Pipeline LLP (100% shares owned by KazTransOil JSC) will receive 50 billion tenge from NC KazMunayGas JSC in anti-crisis funds as a bond loan to finance the investment project ‘Reconstruction and expansion of the main water pipeline Astrakhan - Mangyshlak 1st stage’.
The Main Water Pipeline LLP will issue 50 million bonds for a total amount of 50 billion tenge as per the decision of the Board of Directors of KazTransOil JSC from April 3, 2023.
In turn, NC KazMunayGas JSC will raise similar bond loan from Samruk-Kazyna JSC to provide anti-crisis funds to Main Water Pipeline LLP in the form of a bond loan. NC KazMunayGas JSC will issue bonds for 50 billion tenge as per the decision of the Board of Directors of NC KazMunayGas JSC dated March 14, 2023.
70 billion tenge in anti-crisis funds were granted by the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan Samruk-Kazyna JSC for the implementation of the project as per the decision of the State Commission on Economy Modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2022. Samruk-Kazyna JSC plans to grant these funds to NC KazMunayGas JSC in the form of 50 billion tenge and 20 billion tenge bond loans in 2023. NC KazMunayGas JSC will provide the granted anti-crisis funds to Main Water Pipeline LLP in the form of similar bond loans.
In addition to the anti-crisis funds raised by the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a loan was raised by The National Bank of Kazakhstan JSC to finance the project in November 2022.
The total cost of the project is 112.9 billion tenge with VAT.
KazTransOil JSC holds 100% shares of the Main Water Pipeline LLP which owns the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak main water pipeline.
